The Danker Corneal Protective Covershell

The Danker Protective Covershell is used extensively for the protection of the cornea and sclera during surgical procedures.

These covershells (also known as "Corneal Protectors") are molded from durable plastic and are individually hand-finished, offering excellent patient comfort and corneal protection. Danker Protective Covershells are compatible with most contact lens chemical disinfection products, as well as sterilization using ethylene oxide (ETO). As a result, Danker Protective covershells may be reused numerous times and are extremely cost effective.

Our opaque covershells are available in a full range of colors to suit the needs of the practitioner. To address those occasions when patient tolerance to total opacity is limited, we have developed clear and semi-transparent covershells, offering both corneal protection and partial patient visual acuity.
